15 month check up

It's hard to believe that our baby boy is 15 months old...and not a baby anymore! He is definitely a full blown toddler.

Today was his 15 month check up. They weighed and measured him and his growing well! He was stuck just under 25 pounds for months, and he's finally started gaining weight again. He is 27 pounds 3 ounces (75th%)  today, and 33" long (97th%)! That's more than half Mommy's height! He liked getting weighed...
...but didn't like getting measured! Oh, and his head measurement is 48cm (75th%).
He got some cuddles from Mommy to feel better...

He is doing everything he should be, developmentally, and more. A lot of the milestones we checked off today, are not things they even ask yet. Nurse Pam and Dr. Murad were both impressed. When we were going down the checklist, Nurse Pam couldn't believe all of the things he's doing already, and almost believed me when I told her he could count to 10! Dr. Murad wrote that he "Does everything and more!" in the notes and we couldn't be prouder!

Max had fun twirling his truck around on the stool while we waited for Dr. Murad

Max got 2 vaccines today...one in each arm...Hib and Prevnar 13. He cried big tears when the nurse gave him the shots, but was OK as soon as he got his snack. He's such a brave boy!

Braver than mommy!
